The palate is medium-bodied, with just a touch of herbaceous fruit on the entry, light and easy drinking with a soft landing on the graphite-tinged finish. Fine. Tasted March 2014. Wine Spectator 87/100 - Vintage 2013 Open-knit, with gentle-edged damson plum and bitter cherry notes lined with violet and sanguine hints. Offers a supple, perfumy finish. Drink now through 2019. Well-managed tannins, just giving a nice chewy finish. Lots of dark chocolate – but not too bitter.
