| Tasting Note | RP 86-88/100 A relatively new cuvee from visionary Bernard Magrez, this 100% Merlot from a 3-acre parcel was harvested between October 2-9. A medium-bodied wine, it exhibits blueberry and raspberry fruit, firm tannins in the finish, good flesh and ripeness, and an attractive finish. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. WS 82/100 A modest core of direct plum fruit is backed by a coating of ganache, giving this the appearance of some depth NM 85-87/100 A blend of 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon the Chateau La Tour Carnet 2014 has a tight knit, slightly herbaceous bouquet with plenty of sous-bois aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with green-tinged black peppery fruit on the entry, although it attains a decent degree of harmony towards the finish. Tasted March 2014.
