Tasting Note eRobert Parker (WA) : 84-86/100 Neal Martin The 2013 Aloxe-Corton Village, which is mostly sold domestically, is rather closed on the nose and offers light floral scents with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins, a core of chalky black fruit and a touch of bell pepper just on the short, abrupt finish. Wine Make tasting Note : Sustained ruby colour, silky. Shows prominent aromatics of red and black fruits, morello cherries and spices in its youth; developing floral and jammy notes with age. Robust and elegant, racy and fruity with a solid and structured body, this wine opens after 3 to 5 years.
